Hafla Date Change for ShimmyHappens Hafla

Greetings Sister Bellies!

I'm hoping everyone had an excellent New Year! I'm sorry to announce that we need to change our Shimmy Happens Spring Hafla date from April 21st to May 19th due to unforseen conflicts. I've checked the calendars and hopefully I didn't miss any major event going on that night.

Shimmy Happens Spring Student Hafla will be May 19th, 2012 at Charisma Dance Studio in Lakewood, Wa. Doors open at 5:30 and show starts 6pm. I will begin accepting dancers sign up on April 1st, for 3, 5 or 7 minute solo/duet spots and 5,7 or 10 minute troupe spots. Performers & children under 10 get in Free, otherwise is $5 at the door and you get a free raffle ticket.

Spooktacular Halloween Hafla

Come see Aleedra & Sisters Diama at the annual Spooktacular Halloween Show on Saturday Oct 29th King Oscars Hotel in Tacoma, WA.

Festival dancing & vendors free to the public from 3:30-5pm to see Sisters's Diama & then come to the evening show at 6:30 to see Alimah, Aleedra & Nialah Tarab. A spooky steal for $15 at the door!

Well we had such a great show last night! I wanted to thank everyone who came & support ShimmyHappens Hafla! Such wonderful dancers who graced our stage & of course wouldn't be possible without our rockin audience clapping encouragement! Shimmyhappens Fall Hafla Line Up - September 17th

I have attached the updated Line up for our upcoming Fall 2011 ShimmyHappens Student Hafla Line this Saturday September 17th, 2011 in Lakewood, WA. Doors open at 5:30 & the show starts at 6pm.

This is always a fabulous show! Cost for Non-performers is $5 at the door and you get a free raffle ticket. Additional Raffle tickets are available for $1ea. Performers and children under 10 get in free. We are really enjoying our new Location Charisma Dance Studio at 3901 100th St. SW, Lakewood, WA 98499 and we hope to see you there!

Dance spaces are full but you can still support the Hafla as an audience member. Videos from A Productions will also be available and as always its a fun, relaxed show with someting for everyone!
